Al Mur’s single Capturing The Mood is quite an incredible, chill, and relaxing piece of instrumental music. Stylistically it can be described as a downtempo, lounge track containing elements of lo-fi beats that work perfectly.
In the genre of underground electronic music, especially those who produce chill house (chillwave), lo-fi beats, and instrumental hip-hop, the artist Al Mur has a dedicated following.
Producing EDM mixing elements of synthpop and downtempo along with dreamy, atmospheric leads and synths makes his sound’s effect very similar to the effects of post-rock or shoegaze bands that utilize layers to create ambient sounds, but this is EDM and yes, I can guarantee it’s really relaxing, we just loved it.
Music can be an excellent way to relax. I’ve always loved listening to music, be it on the radio or through my own setup. Over the years, I’ve found myself settling on a certain kind of genre and type of music to listen to. It all started with the sub-genre Chillwave, and that’s the music genre the producer Al Mur is working on.
It is without a doubt that Al Mur is an independent EDM music producer of exceptional talent. His musical influences are diverse since he lives in Greenville, South Carolina. Music inspired by his wife’s paintings has been incorporated into some of his compositions. There is something fascinating about the way plastic art inspires music.
Al Mur has been experimenting with creating instrumental music for some years and in 2019 he decided to release two albums and now his 8th single, “Capturing The Mood,” which was out earlier this year.

The producers from PopHits.Co has different opinions but all very positive. Some liked Al Mur’s songs for chilling out. Another producer loved it for gaming and he said that he’s always loved the soundtracks to games like Burnout Paradise and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2.
“Chillwave songs are so good at capturing the vibe of driving, I think Al Mur’s track builds something similar for people who love driving but for these are for everyone, also for those who don’t necessarily have access to cars. The beats concept are really good for a our personal playlist and even for gaming”.

Al Mur’s songs are home studio productions. It has always been a passion of the producer and composer to listen to music of all genres, from pop to classical. In high school, he learned to play the guitar but never mastered it. Fortunately, years later, he found GarageBand on iPad and other music production apps, which allowed him to experiment with other instruments. The talented artist then adopted GarageBand for Mac, Logic Pro X, and DAW now.
“I have been influenced by many musicians, including classical composers. My favourite composers are List and Mussorgsky. I like classic rock, disco and instrumental hip hop. My recent tracks are influenced by Deadmou5, Brian Culbertson and Misc. Inc.”
