“This song Open Eyes is about dedicating your life to music, the struggle and the beauty. Humbly we may say this is by far one of our favourite songs we have ever written.”
Lie Supine
For the producers of TopMusic.News Lie Supine’s latest single Open Eyes is amazing and had very positive feedback. In their opinion, the track is a feel-good anthem that would have fit right into the alternative rock scene of the late 1990s. It’s got great female and male vocals—a throwback to bands like Live and The Cranberries—and it’s got lush instrumentals that make us think of bands like Foo Fighters or Smashing Pumpkins.
Yes, they caused a good impression as we are sure the producers gave great references and the band deserves it!

Open Eyes is a great example of what this band does best; it’s a catchy song with an upbeat tempo, but also a lot of depth to it that makes you want to listen over and over again. The song has a good mix between pop and alternative rock, with both male and female vocals which complement each other nicely.
The lyrics are also very poetic and poetic enough to make you want to read them over again if they get stuck in your head (which they very well might).
The band members themselves have said that they’re inspired by artists like Radiohead, Placebo and Brian Jonestown, so it’s no surprise that Lie Supine has managed to produce such a memorable song!
