The Filmmaker’s Route Into A Melodic Techno Track

He starts from the world rather than from the groove. Viegas describes bringing a world-building approach across into the music. In practice that means the track puts a listener somewhere specific before it asks them to move.

He states that intention outright. “I poured my vision for a truly immersive and futuristic sound into ‘Celestial Odyssey – REMIX’,” he said on release. “It’s a journey, and I’m thrilled it’s now out for everyone to experience and dance to. This track is a testament to the power of independent creation.”

Two things in that are worth separating. The first is the aim, a futuristic setting rather than a mood. The second is the release model. He self-releases, without a label behind him. Framing that independence as the point rather than the constraint is a deliberate move.

The remix designation matters as well. A remix is a structural exercise before it is anything else. The material already exists, so the work sits in what he keeps, what he rebuilds and where the arrangement breathes. At just over four minutes, this version reads as a listening edit rather than an extended club tool.

In May 2025 the Bauru press reported his official selection for Lift-Off Sessions, the independent film event at Pinewood Studios outside London. Three of his music videos made the cut: Infinity, Rebirth and In the Shadows. All three carry original soundtracks he wrote and produced himself, which is the detail that matters here. He was not scoring someone else’s picture.

A year later, Brazil’s largest news portal covered a second recognition. G1 reported in May 2026 that a film festival in France had named him a finalist for Best Visual Effects. The outlet ran a video segment on it too.

He runs that side of the work through Bryan Stenler Studios, his own agency in Bauru, which builds music videos, campaigns and authorial films.

Visual effects work is compositional in the same way arrangement is. You build a convincing environment out of layers that never shared a room, and the craft sits in hiding the seams. That is a reasonable description of what melodic techno production asks for too.
