1) CHRONO 87 – ICARUS
There are times when a song comes out of nowhere and melts your heart. It’s so good, you want to listen to it over and over again. That’s how I feel about CHRONO 87‘s ICARUS, a classic EDM song with a catchy beat and lyrics that are sure to get stuck in your head for days on end.
Icarus is an anthemic dance track with all of your favourite elements: classic sound, male vocals, commercial future-pop vibe, and amazing danceable beats. This project is featuring another great EDM singer and producer Pippin Henderson, which makes the track a great mix of cultural influences.
Even if you’re not into EDM at all (and there are plenty of people like that), give this one a listen—you might just find yourself singing along after just one play!
2) KOLEKLEIN – Fembot
If you’re a fan of dubstep and EDM music, then you will love KOLEKLEIN‘s new single, FEMBOT. The track is an anthemic banger with cinematic vibes and danceable beats that will make you want to dance, work out or just jump around.

3) ROGUE FX – Retrobution
Retrobution is an infectious song by ROGUE FX, with catchy beats and alternative pop elements. It’s the perfect song to dance to this summer, especially if you’re going to a festival or party.
The synthpop vibes make it feel like you’re listening to a soundtrack from an 80s movie, but Retrobution still has its own individual sound that makes it stand out.
The vocals are reminiscent of artists like Porter Robinson and Zedd, but they have their own unique twist. Rogue FX has a smooth voice that is easy to listen to, which makes the song even more enjoyable. We recommend checking this out and the previous releases too, also, follow the artist on Spotify.
4) KEVIN WHITAKER – Unpredictable Love
The single “Unpredictable Love” by KEVIN WHITAKER is a wonderful mix of EDM genres that will have you dancing in your chair. It’s a song that is electronic but has a rocky feel on it too, which makes it great for the gym, for the club, or anywhere you need some music to get your groove on.
The song is actually a remix of Whitaker’s previous release, this time in partnership with the producer Will Martins. The track features an upbeat dance tune and energetic vocals from Kevin Whitaker himself, who is based in the United States, it’s a result of the European but also US pop culture influence too.
The track has a Calvin Harris-style quality to it, but also has its own unique sound that makes you want to listen over and over again. Our music taste is unpredictable, but we are sure you will enjoy it because it has a festival vibe that makes you feel like a superhero.
You’ll be able to dance along with this one as soon as it starts playing. Now check it out and follow the artist on Spotify!
5) THE GOAT – The Details Are Vague
The Goat is a Vancouver-based electronic artist who is quickly making a name for himself. His newest album, The Details Are Vague, is an industrial-electronic metalcore masterpiece.
The Details Are Vague is a mix of industrial, electronic, metalcore, ambient, techno and leftfield genres. The album features 12 tracks that range from dark to light and happy to sad—a perfect showcase of The Goat’s ability to create moods with his music.
It’s really interesting how EDM become heavy metal in the hands of this artist, a good example if it is the track Reduced To Ashes.

6) HORIZONTE LIED – Zona Prohibida
Horizonte Lied is a Mexican band with a remarkable talent for dark, atmospheric music. Their single “Zona Prohibida,” takes the listener on a trip through the world of nighttime clubs and alien landscapes.
The song’s lyrical content is mysterious and evocative—the lyrics are sung in Spanish, but they’re easy to follow along with as they fly by.
The song starts out with an ominous beat that gives way to a chorus of dark synth beats and deep vocals. The industrial niche marker of this track is on point, it’s dark-wave but totally nostalgic 80s EDM at the same time.
If you’re looking for something new to listen to this weekend, be sure to check out Horizonte Lied on Spotify and follow the band!
7) A.R.B. – Do You Love Me
The single Do You Love Me by A.R.B. is a great example of indie Deep House music. The artist is based in Canada, Toronto and has released two singles on Spotify. This particular song is a mix of house and a very smooth beat that creates a relaxing vibe.
A.R.B. is an excellent artist who uses his voice to create a deep atmosphere that makes the listener feel like they are in another dimension.

8) KING KISMET – Call Me
I love the way that indie EDM artist KING KISMET blends dream pop, electronic elements and future bass in his single Call Me. It’s the kind of track that you can play at home or at a club, and it will get everyone moving—from the most avid of EDM fans to the most casual listener.
Call Me is part dreamy, part danceable and all fun. The song has a cool vibe that’s hard to pin down—it feels like it could be from another era or from someplace far away in space and time. You might even find yourself singing along before it’s over!
This song passes the idea of travelling, and was actually inspired by a relationship over the distance that went well, and ended up with travels, and a lot of love. Thonl of The Chainsmokers, it’s that level.
The instrumentation is also great; there are so many layers of sound that come together to create something really beautiful. It’s almost like being in an alternate dimension where everything sounds relaxing but euphoric at once—and maybe this song is just one step closer to making that happen!
I highly recommend checking out KING KISMET’S other singles as well as any future releases they have planned, follow them on Spotify!
9) WILLJOY – One Coin Two Sides
The album ‘One Coin Two Sides’ by WILLJOY is a combination of 80’s rock vibe, EDM and other genres. The album has a dark-pop feel to it.
The vocalist has a deep voice that makes you want to listen to it and relax. This album is experimental and leftfield which means that it has elements of rock, techno rave and synth-pop.
The album starts with “Welcome”, an upbeat track with a catchy melody line along with some cool synth effects in the background.
Then there are twelve tracks which have a bit more of an electronic feel to them but are still very melodic rock at the same time. Check it out and follow the artist on Spotify to keep updated.
10) MDK FLA – BlackStar
MDK FLA (aka Matthew Cobis) is an indie EDM artist based in the United States, Fort Myers. He released one more 14-track album, BlackStar, which is available on Spotify and other streaming services.
BlackStar is a mix of synth and dream pop with a hint of alt-rock. It’s got 80s vibes and rave beats with male and female vocals and euphoric melodies. Our recommendation is The Sun Also Rises, it’s a good example of Cobis’ work.
It’s an album for those who are looking for something different from the mainstream EDM scene but want to still feel connected to it through its dancey beats and uplifting moods. Check it out and follow the artist on Spotify.
