5) KIMI DJABATÉ – Dindin
The talented guitarist, percussionist, and balafón (African xylophone) player Kimi Djabaté hails from Guinea-Bissau and is considered to be one of Africa’s most exceptional talents.
The musician is now based in Lisbon and has collaborated with a number of musicians, including Mory Kanté, Waldemar Bastos, Netos de Gumbé, and, most recently, Madonna on her song “Ciao Bella,” which is out now.
As part of the new album Dindin, Djabaté continues the tradition of his griot heritage, singing entrancingly about the complexity of life in modern Africa for a broad, international audience because he carries on the traditions of his griot heritage.
By weaving a tapestry of smooth and intricate sounds, Djabaté creates a unique soundscape with a blend of traditional Afro-Portuguese rhythms, Afrobeat grooves, electric desert blues and hints of Afro-Latin swing.

6) NEKTER GUN – Don’t Wanna See You Leave
With a unique blend of house music, dancehall, reggae, and future bass, he stands out from other artists in his genre. He is originally from Cochabamba, Bolivia, and now resides in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
As a musician, Nekter Gun pushes the boundaries of what is possible with his unique fusion of styles and sounds. I am a fan of electronic music and I love to listen to songs which have a good beat. I recently came across this song by AKAPALKA, called Fight Or Flight. This is one of his latest singles and it has been released not too long ago. The song is very catchy and has a strong beat, which will make you want to dance.
His name is Marco Testoni and Akapalka is the name of his electronic music project. In addition to making music, he also makes videos.
The music of Akapalka is not classified as being in a particular genre but rather takes inspiration from video games, house, breaks, rock, and funk.
Fight Or Flight is his recent release, it has some elements of EDM and even hip-hop. It has a fun, uplifting sound that is appropriate for working out or playing during the summer months.
