The song features acoustic guitar and male vocals with an Asian-based cultural influence that makes it easy to listen to over and over again.
After his mother, Clothilda, passed away suddenly, he wrote the song ”Looking Up To Heaven”. The UKSC was told by Glenn that this was the only means by which he could express his grief as a songwriter. In honour of his parents, Clothilda and Edmund Valles, he dedicates this song and this win to them.
It’s got a lot of power—the vocals are strong and clear, and the instrumentals are well-balanced between all the instruments (including his voice, which is always in tune). The track also has a great tempo that keeps things moving along nicely throughout the whole song.
