1) REMUS RUJINSCHI – Tears In The Club – No Tears Mix
When I first heard REMUS RUJINSCHI‘s single, Tears In The Club – No Tears Mix, I was immediately drawn in by the catchy pop melody. It’s a perfect example of commercial dance music at its best.
A Europop-style song infused with trap is the opening song in “Tears In The Club – No Tears Mix” which has been played over 600,000 times on Soundcloud.
His opening remix showcases his talent for creating dreamy electronic soundscapes by blending electronic dance, funk, and pop music into one unique fusion, and the listener is left wanting more from this remix.
If you’re looking for some good music to listen to while you work out or want to relax at home, then this song is right up your alley. It’s made up of electronic pop and synth-pop elements, which makes it perfect for those who love commercial pop music.
With regard to the atmosphere and lyrics of the song, it is clear that they focus on the possibility of reaching self-realization and walking tall in the path of our own galaxy, as well as the risk involved in doing so.
This single has all the ingredients necessary for me to recommend it as one of my favourites from this year! Check it out on Spotify or visit his website to learn more about this artist.
2) UMLILO – Mpumi
The musician’s name is Umlilo, and she’s a South African artist known for her futuristic African sound mixed with the sound of electronic music in a genre called future Kwaai.
She owns a record label by the name of Future Kwaai Records, and Mpumi is the title of her debut album, which is named after her late mother, who passed away in 2019.
The album tells the story of a musical hero’s journey through the different stages of grief. Through the album, themes of death, pain, queer rights, the body, politics, climate change, self-awareness, power and trans people are explored. This album has been written and recorded in different parts of the world, including the United States, Berlin, Germany, and Johannesburg, South Africa.
”It came at a time when I was transitioning and going through many physical ad emotional changes. It explores the loss of my family members and the feelings of isolation in a society that still treats queer and trans people with disdain.” – Says Umlilo.

3) SAVOY ELLIS – Don’t Break My Heart/The One (Sped Up)
The US-based artist SAVOY ELLIS is back with a new single, and it’s absolutely worth your time. It’s got a super catchy beat that will get stuck in your head for days, and the lyrics are really relatable to anyone.
It is a love song that you can dance to. The song builds up and it switches to the sped-up style at about 1:07. The sped-up style gives it an entirely different feel from the original. He tried to fuse the old soul sound with a more modern feel. As a result, the song has a unique sound that is not very common in R&B/Soul music.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.

4) CLARE EASDOWN – To The One’s I Love
Clare Easdown is an Australian-based artist who is known for her unique, avant-garde electronic music. Her recent single “To The One’s I Love” showcases her unique sound and eclectic style.
“To The Ones I Love” is a song dedicated to all the misfits, those who feel completely ignored, discarded, and excluded from the pack. It is a song that gives power to those who feel different from the norm. You are not alone. This is a track that aims to give power back to those who feel different.
This song has been described as “avant-garde electronic” and “alternative pop,” but it also exhibits elements of pop, electronic pop, and dark pop. It’s a unique mixture of genres that makes for some great listening!

5) TOONBEAR – Brightest Night
The second EP that he has released, called Brightest Night, combines heavy hip-hop beats with sombre synths to create a dark ambient sound while evoking emotion in the listener.
The sound of Toonbear is both atmospheric and thought-provoking, and whereas he is originally a punk rocker, the sound incorporates my grassroots influences while keeping a modern edge.
In the last three months, he has gained a bit of foot traffic of a few thousand streams, and his goal is to share his music with others in the hope that they will enjoy his music first and foremost. Everything else is an added bonus.
An EP with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.

6) JOACHIM ZOEPF – Geschmacksarbeit
If you’re looking for something a little different, then check out German musician JOACHIM ZOEPF‘s new album Geschmacksarbeit. This is a highly experimental work that will have you nodding your head and tapping your feet in no time. It’s avant-garde electronic music with an experimental edge, and it’s definitely worth a listen.
When we look at Improvised Music from a modern point of view, we are surprised at how much reserve and distance there used to be in the past towards it. I found that it was either belittled, laughed off, or completely rejected by the musicians themselves, not to mention the media.
But Joachim makes it stand out from every other type of music you have been listening to, it’s extremely impressive how different yet comfortably overwhelming it is, pay attention to everything on this.

7) RUIZ! – Love Is Blind
RUIZ is an indie pop band from Sheffield, UK. They are one of the rising stars of the synthpop scene, and their debut single, “Love Is Blind”, has all the earmarks of a hit.
Having the idea that love can last forever is a very romantic and idealistic thing to believe in. There is something very Hollywood about it and it is so hard to keep it going.
There is no escaping the fact that we are all human, and the daily grind of life, work, and play, takes its toll on us all. In fact, we might not realise that things have changed between us, and as quoted by Prefab Sprout, ‘when love breaks down, the things you do to stop the truth from hurting you.’
The song has all the makings of a classic: it’s catchy, upbeat, and easy to dance to, with a bright acoustic guitar riff and super-catchy vocals. It also has an 80’s vibe that will make you want to get up and strut your stuff!
If you’re looking for some fresh new music with a retro feel to it, RUIZ is definitely worth checking out—visit his website or follow him on Spotify!
8) CARTER RAY – Dear Victoria
The cinematic raconteur Carter Ray, bright with charisma and entertaining like no other entertainer, is set to release his beautifully transformative single, “Dear Victoria” on March 24, 2023.
This is a love letter Carter wrote to himself when he was a younger man, a celebration of the kind of person he has always been. In spite of the fact that he was initially ashamed of his given name, Victoria, as a trans individual.
He now honours the beauty of this name and is aware that Victoria and Carter were never separate entities; they were one in the same, human being who embarked on a path of self-acceptance, growth, and love, all one in one.
There is joy and gratitude captured in this upbeat EDM/pop-inspired ballad, a journey that ultimately shaped the man we know today as an outcome of his experience.

9) BIAS – Can’t Stand Losing You
A unique and timeless masterpiece by THE POLICE, ‘Can’t Stand Losing You’, is reworked by BIAS
Italian producer, BIAS, has teamed up with singer Lorenzo “Montaxx” Montanari (former vocalist of the band Light This Night) to rework another great late 70s classic: Can’t Stand Losing You by The Police. They collaborated on the single Love Will Tear Us Apart earlier this year.
The track, “Can’t Stand Losing You”, is a cover of the Police’s classic hit by the same name. It’s a super edgy, electronic pop song that has a fantastic 80’s vibe to it. If you like your music upbeat and catchy, this is the perfect track for you!
Unlike Andy Summers’ scratchy guitar and Copeland and Sting’s rhythm section from the original version, enveloping synths punctuated by a pulsating drum machine loop take the place of Summers’ scratchy guitar and stabbing rhythm section, completely disrupting the original arrangement, plunging the song into a gloomy Synth Wave ambience.
Follow BIAS on Spotify, and be sure to check out their website also, keep an eye on them!
10) JORIS BON – Eclipse
If you’re looking for a new type of music to relax or dance to, then Joris Bon‘s Eclipse is the song for you.
In addition to being a virtuoso pianist, Joris Bon also has a strong instrumental technique. There is a new rising artist in the piano world.
It’s an instrumental single that blends electronic pop with classical elements, and it features some of the most beautiful sounds I’ve ever heard.
This song would fit perfectly as a soundtrack for a movie or a video game because it has a cinematic feel to it—it’s very well-produced and has a lot of depth.
”Eclipse means Solar Eclipse, Lunar Eclipse, otherwise I eclipse from almost everything.” – Says Joris.
The waters of the city slowly rise over the city under the influence of a meteoritic torrent. An urban city of skyscrapers that is lit up at night as well as during the day.
In an instant, a torrent of meteors and a tsunami appear out of nowhere, and we can only see the last skyscrapers still lit up in the distance. The scene is attended by a young couple. Several years have passed since the rising waters submerged the city under water.
